Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using any Tehseen AI product — including the Tehseen AI Quran App and Folio (collectively, "the Products") — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Products.

Tehseen AI ("we", "our", "us") is the developer and operator of all products under the tehseenai.com umbrella, including quran.tehseenai.com and folio.tehseenai.com.

The Tehseen AI Quran App provides tools for reading, listening to, and practicing Quran recitation. Features include word-by-word translation, tajweed highlighting, AI-powered recitation analysis with word-level feedback, bookmark management, personal notes, and structured practice sessions.

The recitation practice feature uses AI processing on our servers to analyze your voice recording and return a score. By using this feature you consent to your recording being transmitted to our servers solely for this purpose.

An account is required to access bookmarks, notes, practice history, and progress tracking. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration.

Certain features of the Quran App may require a paid subscription, managed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or our web platform. The following applies:

• Payment is charged to your chosen payment method at confirmation of purchase.
• Monthly and yearly subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's App Store or Play Store settings, or through your account settings on the web.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their respective refund policies for in-app purchases. Web purchases follow our refund policy.
• Lifetime purchases do not renew and provide permanent access to included Premium features at the time of purchase.

You retain full ownership of all content you create in the Quran App, including personal notes and bookmarks. We do not claim any rights to your content.

By using the recitation practice feature, you grant Tehseen AI a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your voice recording solely for the purpose of generating and returning your recitation score. We do not store, sell, or share recordings.

Folio is a personal journaling application. The App provides tools for writing, organising, and reflecting on journal entries. AI features — including sentiment analysis, topic extraction, and voice transcription — run entirely on your device using embedded models.

Optional Premium features include cross-device sync, advanced insights, and additional media and organisational capabilities.

An account is not required to use Folio's free features. If you create an account (via Google or Apple sign-in), you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration.

Folio Premium is available as a monthly, yearly, or lifetime subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

• Payment is charged to your App Store or Play Store account at confirmation of purchase.
• Monthly and yearly subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's App Store or Play Store settings.

You retain full ownership of all content you create in Folio, including journal entries, photos, videos, and voice memos. We do not claim any rights to your content.

When sync is enabled, your content is stored in a private, per-user isolated database. We do not access, read, analyse, or share your content. Automated systems do not process your synced content for any purpose other than storage and delivery to your devices.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify any Tehseen AI product.
• Circumvent subscription checks or premium feature gates.
• Use any product for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to access other users' data or disrupt the service.
• Distribute modified versions of any Tehseen AI application.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract content from our services.

All Tehseen AI products, including their design, code, and non-user content, are owned by Tehseen AI and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Quran text and recitation audio used in the Quran App is sourced from public domain Islamic scripture and openly licensed third-party recitation collections.

Your privacy matters to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

Our products are provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding reliability, accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

AI-powered features — including recitation scoring, sentiment analysis, pattern detection, and topic extraction — are informational in nature. Recitation scores are not a substitute for qualified Quran teaching. Journaling insights are not a substitute for professional mental health advice or diagnosis.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tehseen AI and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of our products.

Our total liability for any claim related to our products shall not exceed the amount you paid to Tehseen AI in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You may delete your account at any time from the app Settings. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms. Upon account deletion or termination, all server-side data associated with your account will be permanently deleted.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our products will be resolved in accordance with applicable law. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice within the relevant app. Continued use of our products after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
