Privacy Policy

Tehseen AI ("we", "our", "us") is operated by Muhammad Hammad, a sole proprietor based in Pakistan, and develops products including the Tehseen AI Quran App (available at app.tehseenai.com).

This Privacy Policy describes how we handle data across all Tehseen AI products. Each product section below clarifies what applies specifically to that app. We built our products with privacy at the core — your data belongs to you.

An account is required for personalized features such as practice, progress tracking, bookmarks and subscriptions. You sign in with Google or Apple; we receive your email address and display name from them. We never ask for or store a password.

• Account data: Email address, display name, profile picture URL, and the sign-in provider you used.
• Practice & progress data: Your best score and number of attempts per ayah, and daily usage counts used to apply free-plan limits.
• Bookmarks & notes: Ayah bookmarks and notes you add.
• Subscription data: Plan, status and renewal date. Payment details are handled by Paddle and never reach our servers.
• Reading preferences: Font size, reciter and translation choices, stored in your browser.

When you practise recitation, your microphone audio is streamed securely to our servers and analyzed in memory by our own speech model to produce word-by-word feedback. This audio is not stored and is discarded when the check finishes. It is not sent to any third-party AI provider.

If you tap “Report incorrect result”, we save that recitation clip together with the result you reported, so we can review the mistake and improve accuracy. Reported clips are kept until you delete your account, and are never sold or shared.

• We use PostHog for product analytics (for example, which features are used and where people get stuck). Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the app; if you decline, usage is counted without cookies or stored identifiers. No ad tracking or marketing pixels.
• We do not sell your data to any third party.
• We do not share your data with other users.

• Paddle: Our merchant of record processes subscription payments and taxes under its own privacy policy.
• Apple / Google: Handle sign-in under their own privacy policies.
• Infrastructure: Cloudflare (website and Quran audio delivery), Hetzner in Germany (application servers) and Neon (database).
• Sentry: Error and crash reports to help us fix bugs; recitation audio is never included.
• PostHog: Product analytics as described above.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent: it removes your account, progress, bookmarks, notes and any reported clips, and cancels an active subscription.

Our products are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and secure storage practices for data at rest. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice within the app. Continued use of our products after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
